The remodeling of this two-story house addressed challenges of limited space, thermal discomfort, and insufficient storage. The living area was reimagined to foster a stronger connection with the outdoors through the expansion of the acrylic-covered verandah and the addition of alternative entrances. A dining area atrium was introduced, enhancing both thermal comfort and aesthetic appeal. To optimize space, suspended and cantilevered slabs were employed to extend the first-floor bedrooms, creating a carport below. These thoughtful design interventions resulted in a home that combines seamless functionality with captivating interiors.
