Scope of service and works: Design, tendering and construction, supervision of 2No. apartment buildings in Naguru, Kampala. Apartments consist 2 and 3 bed-roomed units plus 2No. Studio apartments, basement/surface parking and recreation space. Approximate project value: USD 1.5 Million.

Scope of service and works: The building was originally built as a bungalow of masonry walls and asbestos sheets on steel trusses in the 1960's. Proplan Partners Limited has undertaken two major remodeling and extension phases to its present form. The first major extension in the 1990's replaced the roof with Harvey tiles and extensions to the living, service and bedroom areas on the ground level covered by quarry tiles on reinforced concrete slabs. In 2011, the building was extended vertically on a composite concrete steel deck covered with timber match boarding floor/ceiling. The interior ambiance was enhanced by an atrium with glazed surrounds providing ample natural lighting and ventilation.

Scope of service and works: Masterplanning of Infrastructure works, housing layouts and design of various types of middle-income housing units (100 No.). Value USD 6.0 million.

Period: 2006 ‐ 09

Scope of service and works: enovation of existing colonial building and conversion into guestroom accommodation to supplement a new building containing self contained suites (10No.) with modern amenities, well manicured gardens and set in splendid surroundings adjacent to the Tooro Golf Club, in Fort Portal.

The project was in 2 phases (2006 and 2009), the second one being an extension to the guest house.

Scope of service and works: The construction of an apartment building with 4 three-roomed and 4 two-roomed flats to high specifications. The massing of the blocks leads to an array of exciting living areas and spaces.
